Meet the Doctor
Being an orthodontist allows me to watch my patients’ amazing transformations when their smiles are improved with orthodontic treatment. The excitement and anticipation that go along with the first visit, all the way to the amazing smiles at the end of treatment, are what make what I do worthwhile.
A native of Peoria, I moved back to my hometown after completing my orthodontic residency at St. Louis University in 1997. I’m a Bergan High School alumnus and a graduate of the University of Louisville Dental School. My wife, Michelle, is also a Central Illinois native and is a graduate of Woodruff High School and Bradley University. We have been married for 18 years and have three daughters. I love spending time with my family and enjoy boating, photography, flying radio-controlled aircraft, model trains, and recreational hockey. I’m a little “old school” when it comes to music, so you may hear some songs from the 80s when you visit our office.
As an orthodontist, I pride myself on providing my patients with state-of-the-art treatment techniques and equipment. I am a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Illinois Society of Orthodontists, Illinois State Dental Society, Peoria District Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation. I also belong to several local dental study clubs and organizations.

Hello! My name is Lisa and I have been with Cusack Orthodontics since 2009. I have enjoyed working chairside for several years and have recently transitioned to the front office as a scheduling coordinator. Part of my job is to ensure that each patient has a welcoming experience when visiting our office. It's great to see the positive impact that a beautiful smile can have!
My husband and I have recently welcomed the addition of a beautiful baby boy! We are really enjoying all the excitement and fun that a child brings to our family.
Hello! My name is Melissa and I have worked at Cusack orthodontics since 2007. I am both a treatment coordinator and clinical assistant at the office. Along with assisting patients chairside I help create financial options for treatment. I especially enjoy seeing our patients beautiful new smiles at the end of their orthodontic journey!
Outside of work I love spending time with my husband and our two beautiful daughters!
Hello! My name is Tiffany and I am the financial / insurance coordinator at Cusack Orthodontics. I have been a member of the team since 2007. My position requires me to be responsible for multiple facets of patient financial accounts. I wear many different hats here at the office, so you probably have seen me occasionally behind the front desk as well as assisting chairside. I truly enjoy getting to know all the families at our office!
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children and participating in their many extracurricular activities.
Hello! My name is Patricia and I have been a lab technician at Cusack orthodontics since 2012. I'm involved in the beginning and final stages of treatment by creating molds for each patient to help visualize treatment plans, as well as making retainers once treatment has finished. I love helping each patient maintain their Hollywood smile!
On the weekends you can catch me enjoying the outdoors! I love hiking, camping, and anything that involves nature!
